Senior Architect · Microsoft (Vexcel)

Building AI systems with intention.

About

I’m a senior architect at Vexcel, part of Microsoft, and these days most of my work is about AI.

A lot of AI work starts with “where can we add AI?” and works backwards from there. I’d rather start with the problem. What’s slow or error-prone today, and would AI actually make it better? If it would, I want it built responsibly, and built to hold up once everyone is using it.

Before moving into architecture in 2022, I spent years as a developer and development lead on Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, first at Avanade and then at Vexcel. A few things I wrote along the way are in the Power Pages archive.

    Senior Architect · Microsoft (Vexcel)

I moved from development lead to architect in 2022. Right now I’m leading the AI transformation for a large Microsoft project, which mostly means working out where AI will genuinely help and then designing the systems and processes around it.
